THE ILLEGAL MISTRESS

have you ever thought about a woman who would like to be in a position of a filler to a man who has already a legal mistress? in short, a woman who would love to be an illegal mistress! there is such a thing.. and i just recently discovered that stupidity.

let me first define the three characters mostly used in this post.

legal miss- a mistress, legally acknowledge by the family, friends and relatives of the man to whom the woman has a relationship with

illegal miss- a mistress, unknown to many, and has a secret relationship with a married man who has already a legal mistress.

man- a complicated, still legally married man, now separated with his lawful wife.

long ago, there was a girl who opted to get involve with a married man, who was actually living with his lawful wife during that time. their relationship became so serious, enough to have a child of their own. the fight within the wife and the mistress was so verbally hurtful to a certain extent, that some nasty things were done even on the internet by both.
but in the end, the mistress won. because the man choose the other woman which is his mistress over his lawful wife. and so their life continues.
the mistress was still in an unstable mind and thinking that they can make it though. their relationship went on and off, but they still managed to patch things up. a lot of goodbyes were done, mostly every month due to the insecurities felt by the woman.
but even so, the woman loved his man so much, that she never thought that her man could be cheating on her.
the woman does’nt know that her man has met another woman, that became his confidante in times of their quarrels and misunderstandings. the woman has become the “illegal mistress”. it was unknown to the “legal miss” that during the times that they were apart, her man was already building an intimate relationship with the “illegal miss”.
they were always having fun while hanging around with each other, but their relationship was a top secret to all.
the man maintained his relationship with his “illegal miss” because he had not experienced any problems with her in terms of time constraints. the “illegal miss”, was such a great follower and believer to the man, that she thought she already knew everything. but she was so wrong.
she was overly confident that the man loved her above all, and would trade anything just to keep her.
the man already felt happiness with her “legal miss”, as he observed that she has become more stable with regards to the stability of their relationship. he has found the direction in their relationship as a family, having their child and seeing it growing.
the “illegal miss” noticed it, so she started digging up on her boyfriend’s “legal miss”. she wants to know what’s happening? and why does his man’s time for her became shorter and limited. until she finally got what she wants. the details.
the “illegal miss” started to show herself to distract the “legal miss” of his boyfriend. the man still wanted to keep their relationship unknown to many. but truth will always prevail, no matter how hard you hide it. it will come out freshly from the oven.. haha
upon discovering, the “legal miss” immediately broke up with her man. she was very upset, hurt and felt the sudden rush of pain every time she thinks about it. she was terribly shaking that she was not ready to accept it and still thinks that what happened was so unbelievable!
but finally, the man broke down, and made a decision to choose. he choose to be with the woman whom he loved so much. the “legal miss”. and now, they are picking up the pieces, and strengthening their team effort to make their relationship work until the end..
how can a woman, who already knew the great complication of the life of that man, and still wanting to have a relationship with him? how stupid she was that she entered that world. really stupid. and now, she’s getting what she deserves..

WHY MEN CHEATS?

why men cheats? do i have to specify the answers one by one?
men cheats not because they are born polygamous. men cheats because they are insecure.
exactly. and i am very sure about that answer. come on, guys! explain why..
most men feel secure if they have a lot of girls around them.. when i mean girls, it refers to girlfriends. they wanted to feel secure because they want to “belong”, in a circle where they can brag about their charm on girls to their friends. it adds the machismo effect on their pride.
and the result? a lot of innocent women gets hurt because of the men’s “playfulness”. men does not consider the fact that someone might be loving them wholeheartedly and sincerely but they would not notice it.
men enters on multiple relationships with women because they just want to have a “spare tire” when the other girl splits up with them. they need a fall back.. hmm.. wise, isnt it?
men cheats on women because they are afraid of rejection. when a woman tried to reject them, men would not feel a big impact because somebody else is waiting for them.. it goes with the saying, “saving for the rainy days!”
men cheats on women because they are afraid to be alone. as we all know, men are emotionally weak. they do not verbally express their feelings or disclose it with someone to get relief. they just go out of their way to enjoy and forget about the “hurt” that they are feeling. but inside they are broken. they make use of that excuse to meet other women who can understand them and goes with them while enjoying the ride, then eventually have an intimate relationship with her.
men cheats on women because they are coward. statistics shows that most relationship breakups were initiated and proposed mostly by women. and those breakups were caused by the unfaithfulness of their male partner. meaning, that men are coward to tell their significant other that they are not in love with them anymore, that they have found someone better to get in love with. why? because they dont want their girlfriend to get hurt if they would know the reason why their boyfriend is splitting up on them. they are not just telling the truth, they also keep on hiding the truth as best as they can. how ruthless, isnt it?
men cheats on women because they are protecting their own benefits. yes. “friends” with benefits. when we say benefits, these are aspects in general means. everything that men enjoys in their multiple relationships goes with that. time, sex, attention, pleasure, leisure, all of them!
men cheats on women beacuse they are not contented. come on, nobody’s perfect. and each character of us compensate each other’s flaws. men wants a woman who has a perfect character. but does it exists? of course it does’nt. so they tend to fill up their girlfriend’s inadequacy from someone else’s capability. and so the cheating happens.
men cheats on women because they really dont know how to love. a simple explanation would do. when you really love someone, you have to accept everything about her. her past, her mistakes, and her character. when you love, there should always be truth and respect. loving might be hurtful, but atleast you are truthful. the burden would not be as hard and as big if men will just be truthful to their significant other.

so what now? should a man validate this? or women alone, can agree to that?
now men, how do you plea?

NUVALI, the next attraction in the SOUTH

along Paseo de Sta. Rosa, there is a new build community which is called “NUVALI”. it is a high class village in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, which until now, marketing its way up to fill the area.
across the nuvali village is a “hang-out” area, which is called SOLENAD, that has shopping centers and restaurants that caters mainly the residents within the vicinity of sta. rosa and their villagers.

it’s like a combination of a nature park and business center as well. what i like about nuvali is because of the peaceful and discreet ambiance within the place. there are a lot of commercial establishments, that anyone would’nt get bored from. it is also a nice place for work. the convergys, one of the biggest BPO’s in the country today has build their another branch located here.

the cold rush of wind from tagaytay made its way to be felt here which benefited the patrons of the place.
try to visit this place and hang-out with your family.

RED CLIFF, a review

i was very fortunate to came to see the movie, “RED CLIFF“, a John Woo film that is inspired from a Chinese epic. it is a historical drama based on a legendary battle held during the end of Han Dynasty in the 208 A.D.
the story is about the power hungry Prime Minister turned General Cao cao, who has the permission from the Han dynasty Emperor to destroy the two warring kingdoms from the south, and to reign the entire land. General Cao cao was the most powerful armed force leader during his time, having hundreds of thousands of soldiers that will fight under his command.
as Cao cao’s forces become more aggressive, the two rival warlords, Liu Bei and Sun Quan decided to form an alliance to make their forces become stonger to fight with the giant General Cao cao. this happened through the great mind of Sun Quan’s trusted advisor war hero Zhou Yu.
Zhou Yu played the major role in all the war tactics of the two kingdoms.
the movie shows more of the “art of war” principles, and all the strategies that should be consider and should be made to win in any battle.
some of the strategies used by the alliance was humorous yet effective. the knowledge and wisdom of their war adviser has made them a powerful army not by numbers, but by heart.
it has an overwhelming passion and courage from the war leaders that everyone will get inspired as they watch the movie.
the rebel warlords banded together to mount a heroic campaign unrivalled in history that changes the face of China forever.

the more you know about the art of war and the forces of nature, the most likely you will win in a battle that you think you are out numbered.

4 stars for red cliff!

THAI NOODLE

noodles is the most common food nowadays. because of its cheaper price, it can easily relieve anybody’s hunger. in asian culture, noodles has been the brand as an on-the-go food for everyone. it’s easy to prepare, to cook and to eat. all countries in asia has their own version of noodles according to their native specialty.

i got this opportunity to dine at “THAI NOODLE“, a noodle food store that serves thailand noodle dishes. they use a flat noodle, just like what’s being used in fettucine dishes. their menu is very minimal, but each meal has its own character when it comes to taste.
their special noodle is what they call “pad thai” a fried noodle that looks like pansit. it tastes like the combination of pansit canton and pansit palabok. they really have a big serving that will satisfy and full your stomach.

they also serve the usual wanton noodles, noodles with meat balls, with siomai noodles, and other mixture that you will really love. when it comes to the price, it’s very affordable. at 100 bucks, you can already enjoy the thailand noodle dishes, which comes with your favorite drink!
we were fortunate that the store owner himself serves the food to the customers and i really appreciate him for being hands-on in his business. he’s very polite and greets everyone that comes and leaves his noodle house.

it’s place is located at the 4rth floor of Festival Supermall in Alabang, in the theatre area.

FROSTY SPOON ice cream

ice cream is one of the best heat equalizer for most of us. it is the most loved desserts in many restaurants as well. even most of the kids love it, that they would trade any of their favorite toys for just a scoop of it.
the most common type of ice cream in the Philippines, is what we call the “dirty ice cream“. it is categorized as a street food, that is locally made by a “sorbetero“, the person who manufactures and sells it on the streets by using a distinct horn to attract kids and ice cream lovers around its community.

with so much love for ice creams, many entrepreneurs found a great idea to cater the upscale market, that encouraged them to put up a store serving only ice creams. one of it is the “frosty spoon“.
one of its branches is located at Paseo de Sta. Rosa, a widely known shopping and party place in Laguna. they offer a lot of ice cream flavors, and adds different twists to the usual scoop of our favorite flavor.

they have the all-time favorite banana split, which they call goin bananas as their version, and other so good fruity flavors to choose from.
their selling price is quite higher than the other local brands, but it’s still reasonable because of its chilling tastes that will drain off the heat in your body.

the store interior is very fruity and sweet to look, because of the pastel colors painted on the walls that represents the flavors of their ice cream.
they also offers other snacks such as burgers and sandwiches.

NEVER TOO LATE FOR THE OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH

i have always been a believer that education is only the answer to poverty. unfortunately, many Filipinos, and other children around the world has been deprived from their right to be educated formally. the main reason? poverty. they have no other means to suffice the budget on education for their family. let me share you my story..

on my third year in highschool, our family had a financial crisis, causing my studies to suffer. so i had no choice but to stop going to school. i never opted to transfer in a public school because i dont want to experience any “culture shock”. so i became an “out-of-school youth”.

at 14, i experienced to work in a grocery store as a saleslady, bagger and a merchandiser at the same time. it was really a tough job for a teen like me during that time. but still i was happy because i was helping my family.

i was out of school for two long years, and just finished second year highschool then. it was really painful to me but i have to be resilient during tough times.

fortunately, a great opportunity came into me as i went to my previous highschool in alabang. when they learned that i didnt continue on my highshool, they referred me to the DECS Division Office in Alabang to take the PEPT or the Philippine Educational Placemet Test. it’s an acceleration examination for people who has been out of school for a long time that will give them an opportunity to skip a certain level higher from what they have achieved. it depends on the capability of the examiner to where he can accelerate himself, based on stock knowledge and logical reasoning.

and gladly, i passed. i was accelerated from second year highschool to college level, skipping 2 years of third and fourth year in highschool. that’s why i never experienced JS Prom ( very unfortunate, lol!). it was such a blessing because the years that i stopped from school just became an offset of what i missed in highschool. it’s like i never stopped from school! i have saved a lot of time, energy and money from skipping the two-year highschool levels! and i consider that as one of my greatest achievements.

that was a major turning point in my life. so i entered college without any knowledge about chemistry and physics! i only have the urge and exitement to finally go back to school, and learn the academics! i had a tough first year in college so, i had to double the effort to learn. english and literature was never a problem to me back then, but when it comes to numbers? please spare me! (haha lol!) through the help of my friends, and my hard work, i was able to finish college in electronics engineering. then, had my work afterwards. there you go..

so to all the OSY’s out there, take the next step. inquire the nearest DECS Division Office in your area about the process of registration and the whole examination procedure. they will give you guidelines on how to avail the opportunity and the documents they require. GOODLUCK!

BORN TO BE A MISTRESS?

in reality, people have been naming names to women who has an intimate relationship with a married man, to whom they are not legally binded by the law of mankind and the law of God.
hooker, kabet ( for filipinos), home wrecker, bitch and other not so good to hear names.
well in legal terms, the right word for that would be an adulterer, that of which should be proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt through evidence. and also, it must be presented on the judicial court, by the complainant. but for as long as it is not in the legal manner of presentation, the person cannot be called as an adulterer.
in Godly manner, yes it can be. the person can be called an adulterer through the eyes of God, depending on the religion and belief of the concerned person. Like in Muslim culture, it is acceptable to have multiple wives as their partners, provided that they can maintain and sustain the needs of their family with the other wives. But in the Roman Catholic Church, it is forbidden and sinful to have another woman, other than the legally binded wife. so what this is all about?
either way, whether you are the mistress or the legal wife, everything would be an argument. there are a lot of cases where, a married man or a woman is intimately acquainted and related to another person, by choice. and the complication goes everywhere within the relationships.
i do not endorse that the idea of having a mistress or multiple partners is justifiable. i only want to emphasize that we should not judge anybody by the choice that he made, for as long as it does’nt give any harm to others who are not concerned about.
respect is the key. because we all have the 3 F’s.. flaws, faults and failures. we will all be liable to whatever 3F’s that we have. we just need to learn to understand and accept the 3F’s that we see in each other.

TRUTH OR COMPLICATE?

many people today experience a lot of complications in their lives. most of those complications is all about love and relationships. some has multiple partners that takes them to the complexity of the word itself.
for me, complicated is just a statement. it can only be complicated if you wont let it clearly understandable to many. being complicated does not mean that you are not simple. it only means that you have a lot to explain.
but sometimes, we dont need to explain it or to elaborate it to a certain extent that we might confuse the audience. there are people that does not have the right to know everything about our life. if we choose to keep it private, then be it. if we choose to tell everything to the world, then shout it!
they say truth hurts. and i agree to a portion of it. but when we say truth, does it have to mean pain? truth is very subjective. i got an opportunity to ask a man, not closely related to me, about why does the truth hurts? he associated it with love, with a significant other. that, if you think your loved one or your partner will get hurt, if she will be able to know the truth about you cheating on her, she will definitely get hurt. but if she does not know, she wont get hurt a bit.
my point to that is, it should not be the truth that hurts, it’s the awareness to the truth that hurts.

in my own view to this “truth thing” would be.. just tell the truth, then you will be set free. free from carrying heavy loads and the guilt. it’s still best to walk lightly, because you will never miss a thing on your journey.

LANCE’S CHRISTENING

(inside the photo: me-ann with daughter seline, nanay mau with grandchild yumi, me with venice, and yumi’s cousin)

last weekend we went to binangonan to pay a visit on venice’s lolo and lola. we ended up going to cavite because it’s lance’s christening, venice’s cousin.
we had our lunch there, and bonded with other cousins of venice and other siblings of his dad.
everyone was enjoying the whole celebration, having all the kids sing nursery songs.
venice was also clapping and shouting and all her cousins as well.
it was a great family day!

BROTHERS BURGER

when it comes to snacks, hamburger is our second favorite. sometimes, even a burger mcdo will do.

brothers burger is one of the best burger food chains in the US. and gladly, they imported their food store here in the philippines.

although they still have a few number of branches across the country, they manage to adapt to the cravings of the Filipinos and our love for hamburgers.

when we say big, it’s really big burgers they offer that will satisfy anybody’s hunger..
and when it comes to tastes, cloud nine! their burger patties are really meaty and flavorful. and because it’s grilled, its meat is tender and juicy, with the smokey smell that will accelerate your appetite!

they also have a variety of snacks such as chili potato fries, also yummy because of its meaty dressing just like for tacos, and their onion rings are crispier just like at Don Henricos.

one of their branch is located at Paseo de Sta. Rosa here in Laguna.

YELLOW CAB PIZZA

pizza is one of my favorite food ever.. and also pasta. kinda italian food trip.

last saturday, our family dropped by at edsa central to have dinner. we were lucky to get a parking space near the the yellow cab store then had our dinner there.

my husband and i’s favorite in all pizza stores are fried chicken wings and our choice of pan pizza.

we ordered the shrimp and garlic pizza and the buffalo wings, enough to satisfy our cravings. even our daughter loved eating the cheesy crust of the pizza from yellow cab.

HEALTH SPA in calamba

the best way to unwind and relax our body is to have a great massage. here in calamba laguna, “health spa” is one of the most patronized massage spa. it is located along real highway, across LISP II.

this is where my husband and i have our body spoiled and pampered. they offer a combination of sauna bath, foot spa, and whole body thai massage, with a soothing melow music as a background.

their amenities and services are satisfying, at a very affordable price. you can have a combo massage for less than a thousand pesos. such a rejuvinating experience!

ENTREPRENEUR MAGAZINE

entrep

one of my favorite magazine is the “entrepreneur“. eversince i got interested onto business, i always make it a point to secure the latest volume of it. if i miss an issue, i always try to look for back issues on magazine stands.

i have always been a business minded gal, who is very frustrated to start my own business that will give me financial freedom and quality time to my family as well.

i want to be my own boss, just like its tag line. entrepreneur magazine shares a lot of success stories directly from entrepreneur themselves. they give strategies on how to become a successful businessman. and also they share their ups and downs during their struggle when they were just starting their hopeful business.

entrep2

entrepreneur magazine is very informative and inspiring to all the entrepreneur would-be that would like to find their niche in the business world. it costs only 125php, and will surely satisfy your passion in going into business.

grab its october issue!

MANOY BICOL RESTAURANT

manoy bicol

last night, my husband and i went to SM Sta. Rosa to buy me a new cellphone.

after purchasing the nice phone, nokia N6220, we had our dinner at Manoy Bicol Restaurant. A local filipino cuisine that offers  Bicolandia recipes, mostly spicy dishes.

manoy1

we ordered the bicol express, ginataang sigarilyas with pork bits, and bangus express, fried bangus with shredded green sili on top. each meal has ginger and malunggay soup, and fried dilis on the side. they offer rice to sawa in all their combo meals.

when it comes to price, it was very reasonable. you can have a great spicy meal for less than 150php. the ambiance of the resto was very homey and comfortable.

manoy2

it’s a great place to dine with while enjoying the bicol dishes. love it!

well, now finally the storm has ended. i manage to survive and im back with vengeance.

i love my family so much. they are my life, and i’l do evrything to protect them from any harm.

ABSENT FOR A WHILE

i’ve been busy for the past few days on my work.. so, i have’nt had enough time to update my blog.

it’s been tough at work and still.. but i have no choice but to stay because i don’t have other means to earn money. i have been thinking about going into business, but i’m overwhelmed with the ideas of what business should i choose to begin with.

life oh life.. i am not happy anymore with my present job. it gives me a lot of stress, that gives me headaches once in a while. i want to work in an environment where i can do my job effectively and staying happy at the same time.

if i could just resign as easy as that, i would do. i want a new place to work with, new people to deal with, and a more chalenging  tasks which i know, it can make me a better person. but it does’nt make sense for now..

GREAT DAY TODAY

thumbs up
it’s a great day today, hot and sunny morning, gives us some relief after the traumatic storm experience.

i did not have much time to write something yesterday,

my hubby and i went to the mall, just to window shop, but still we ended up buying things that we need, and also to make ourselves a little bit happy. we bought ourselves a new wallets, from girbaud. and shoes from gibi and herbench. it does not costs too much, not to feel guilty about buying, coz we need it anyway.

i just feel bad, because of my cellphone. it’s not working anymore, but i cant afford to buy a new one. if i buy a new one, i would probably prefer the latest phones, but it’s too expensive.

but anyway, it’s a matter of priority.

so much for the typhoon updates for now.. it’s time to rebuild and secure a better home for everyone.you.

you are always welcome to donate on the legit foundations to be able to help the flood victims of ONDOY and PEPENG accross the country.

God Bless You All!
